At Onslow College students achieve academic and personal excellence. Enrolling online at Onslow provides the support of highly qualified and experienced teachers who all believe that every child can learn, achieve and contribute strongly to their community.
We have a clear vision and set of values which support students in their learning. Our aim is that every child will develop a learning programme that is personalised to meet their individual needs and interests.
We are working closely with the Ministry of Education on a building programme which will mean we have State-of-the art facilities and technologies to support and enhance learning. Learning opportunities at Onslow include a wide range of sporting, arts and entrepreneurial activities.
We want our young people leaving Onslow College as critical thinkers and as empowered, life-long learners. Building strong partnerships with whānau and using our Ako system means every student is supported and guided in a caring environment that values them.
Onslow College is an exciting place to be. We look forward to you joining us and contributing to our community.

Dates for In-Zone Enrolments
We accept enrolments for in-zone students at any time, but we would appreciate enrolments being in as soon as possible so we can know how many places we can offer to out-of-zone enrolments.
Dates for Out-of-Zone Enrolments
Each year the Board will determine the number of places which are likely to be available in the following year for the enrolment of students who live out-of-zone. The Board will publish this information by notice in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school. The notice will indicate how applications are to be made and will specify a date by which all applications must be received.
Check the specific dates for out-of-zone enrolments below:
Applications for enrolment will be processed in the following order of priority:
1st Priority | This priority category is not applicable at this school because the school does not run a special programme approved by the Secretary of Education |
---|---|
3rd Priority | Given to applicants who are siblings of former students |
4th Priority | Given to applicants who are children of former students |
5th Priority | Given to applicants who are children of Board employees |
6th Priority | Given to all other applicants |
