The Johnsonville, Moorefield Mural was developed in 2014 by Sheyne Tuffery and Northern Suburb School Students. Community representatives produced a list of selected topics. Schools involved were then asked to choose their preferred topic from the given list. The chosen topics from schools was mainly the Johnsonville Railway line. From the information produced, Sheyne made the artistic decision to shape the mural into a 100m long train, with each panel being a different cart. From 11 schools, different students were involved in this community project. Students from Onslow were happily involved in the project and helped contribute to the long standing mural that represents the development of the beloved suburb of Johnsonville.
