If we have enough interest a school team or individual may compete in the College Sport events outlined below.
Training: Own programmes but extra help or coaching can be sourced. Trainings take place at the College after school.
Competition: 8th September, Kilbirnie Rec Center.
Structure of the Tournament:
The tournament will be split into two divisions, mixed gender is accepted into this competition
● Regional Open Seniors
● Regional Open Juniors
Each division will be grouped into heats of 3-5 people with runs of 2 minutes each heat. Each participant will be given a score. The score will determine whether the participant gets through to the next round. There will be two runs per heat, those with the highest score move into the final.
Judges: Girls and Boys will be scored out of 100 in the following categories:
Variety - the number of different tricks attempted.
Consistency - the percentage of tricks landed.
Difficulty - of tricks attempted.
Style - smoothness and use of the course.
Perseverance to land a trick.
Uniform: Students can wear mufti for this event. Safety equipment is encouraged for this event.
Cost: $10 for the event entry.
