Image previewOnslow students compete in shooting through the Ngaio Rifle Club (NRC), and begin by participating in their Learn to Shoot Programme. Onslow College collects student registrations and passes them on to the Club. Parents can expect to be contacted by a Club Rep in February 2021.

'Learn To Shoot' (LTS) is an introduction program for Onslow students to small-bore target shooting. LTS lets students try this challenging sport for 4 weeks. In this period basic target shooting skills and range safety will be learned.

Cost: The 4 week program costs $70.00, this includes ammunition, the use of hearing protection and any other equipment that is needed in this LTS program. This fee is payable to NRC.

Training: This LTS program runs from the end of February on either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday afternoons from 4.30pm to 6.00pm (exact days will be confirmed early in the year). NRC range is located at  21a Cashmere Ave, Khandallah (Gray building east of the railway station).

At the end of  LTS students well be invited to join NRC and progress their skills and performance. We attend national events throughout the year and encourage our members to be involved at the highest levels in this amazing sport.
