Director of Cricket: TBA 
Year 9 students are required to register by 20 January (email your name, previous team and club and preferred position to sport@onslow.school.nz). You will then be contacted by a committee member and advised of the training/trial dates for your age group.
Training: We are privileged to have an onsite high standard indoor cricket training facility (Farnboro Centre) providing all weather training conditions. Training begins in early to mid January as advised by coaches/managers.
Specific professional coaching programme for Year 9 students in 2020.
Development: Additional professional coaching is offered to students at various levels and Onslow College is working closely with local clubs to bring in additional coaching resources regularly.
Equipment: Some team equipment is available however most students prefer to provide their own bat, pads and gloves. Balls are provided.
Competition:
30th January - Premier 1-4 begins
6th February - Senior T20/Int/Jnr Grades begin
Boys competitions Play Saturday mornings
Girls competitions Thursday 4pm-7pm
Uniform: Team uniform is supplied by the school unless advised by your coaches in which case students supply their own whites.
Traveling and training tops, cap and tracksuit must also be purchased and are available through the team coach at a reasonable cost.
1st XI players will need to purchase a team blazer.
Cost: Fees vary depending on the division students play in:
1st XI - $725
2nd XI - $450
3rd XI - $300
4th XI / T20 - $150
Year 9 - $325
Girls - $130
Parent Help Required: Parents are welcome to join the committee. We are always interested in parents who wish to coach, either now or in the future and would welcome any discussion on what you have to offer. Parents are also required to help with transport to and from games.
Compulsory Referee Course for Year 10s: Level 1
Compulsory Umpires courses will be held at the start of the year. Exact dates are yet to be confirmed, but all players who play in the Intermediate grades need to have attended this course. The link below is where participants can download various other umpiring information:
