About Onslow International

Haere Mai

Welcome

Here at Onslow College, we welcome enrolments from overseas international students.

“The best education you will ever get is traveling. Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.”

― Mark Patterson

Situated less than 15 minutes from the capital city centre of Wellington, Onslow provides the best of both worlds; the bustle of city life nearby, and the quiet of a traditional Aotearoa New Zealand town. Built on what was historically forest land, we are spoilt with natural landscape to explore, and native trees and birds to discover. Māori are the tangata whenua (indigenous people) of Aotearoa New Zealand and their culture is an integral part of local life. Onslow College are committed to sharing this unique and important culture with our International Students.

Onslow College International is known for providing excellent academic, social and individual support for our international students. We believe in the significance of ‘whanaungatanga’ (kinship) and pride ourselves on creating a welcoming family environment for our international students, while they are staying with us. We offer an inclusive programme that teaches the students to achieve academically in another language, and gain entrance to universities worldwide.

We encourage our students to learn about different cultures and make new friends from many different nationalities. In addition, we provide positive opportunities for the students to experience many of the extra-curricular activities to build their confidence and provides opportunity to experience what Wellington and Aotearoa New Zealand offers.

We can’t wait to meet you! Nau mai, haere mai – welcome!
