The International Students Department works hard at providing a warm and caring support structure for its students. We have always had an open door approach and welcome the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions that the students may have.

The staff consist of Kerry Finnigan (Director of International Students), Carol Piper (Subject Leader - ESOL) and Veronica Aitken (part time ESOL teacher) as well as Catherine Griffin who works with the students in their class. We also have an Office Manager, May Wong who also works with the Chinese students when they have difficulties. Some time is set aside for Kerry to help students with any concerns they may have, e.g. timetable and homestays. Hali Balfoort, our Homestay Manager is also available regularly to support the students in our homestay programme.
