Sports
Sport and recreation are seen as integral parts of the physical and personal development of students. Physical exercise promotes a sense of personal well-being, enhancing both bodily health and intellectual performance.
Onslow College students participate and compete sucessfully in a wide range of sporting activities. Many represent their sport at regional and national levels.
A full time Sports Coordinator coordinates sporting activities. The sucess of the sports programme also depends on the involvement and support of parents and others in the community.
The main sports notice board is situated in the Link Foyer area. This will display draws, results and important information about coming events.
Sports notices appear in the daily school notices. Students need to make sure they read or listen to notices as this is the main way coaches and managers will communicate with players. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they read the notices.
The Sports Coordinator’s office is located in the Link Foyer.
