Onslow College’s mission is to provide a high quality education for all students in our community.
We believe very strongly in academic excellence and achievement.
Our purpose is to enable students to realise their potential in a cooperative, friendly, stimulating, disciplined and well resourced environment.
The College is driven by a sense of community rather than conformity. We have clear standards and expectations for all members of the school community while encouraging them to develop their individual strengths and identities.
We help support students to participate and engage in their learning so that they can be successful at school as well as being prepared for the future. The end result speaks for itself. Students like being here, academically we rate among the top colleges in New Zealand and our students go on to success in a wide variety of careers.
Onslow College recognises the value of learning which occurs outside the classroom. We support and encourage a diverse range of sporting and cultural activities. Our students achieve recognition at regional and national levels in a wide range of extracurricular activities.
Expectations to do well and excel are high. We provide high quality support systems and staff to assist students to achieve to the best of their ability.

Winter Tournament Week
Congratulations to the Girls Hockey Team for making the Final of the Kate Trolove Tournament in Taupo. Good luck with your game at 3.30 on Friday.
Well done also to the Netball team in Wanganui and the Girls Football team in Palmerston North, who are both playing in the playoffs for 3rd and 4th on Friday, Good Luck,

Bowl Repaint
At the initiative of Pablo Ridler (Year 11) the old skatebowl has undergone a repaint and renovation. Using an Onslow inspired theme Pablo along with Gabby Simpson and Daniel Gordon have used holiday and after school time to give the bowl a frsh new look. Thanks Guys! Photo Gallery
