The Space & Science Festival is returning to Onslow College with an even bigger and better programme in May!

The festival is organised by a not-for-profit society founded by 20 scientists, engineers, technologists, parents and teachers. They aim to
provide amazing experiences for all ages. We have people from primary schools to retirement homes coming, so there is something for everyone. Bring the whole family.


For 2017 we’re organising 3 amazing events across 3 weekends in the month of May.

May 13th – Space & Science Festival @DAY

Daytime event focused on Flying Machines, Maths Craft, Engineering with Robots & Electronics, Coding, Science Talks and fun with Physics, Chemistry & Biological sciences.
Plus chance to meet special guests from NASA!

May 20th – The Art of Night with Mark Gee

Late night event focused on Astrophotography with award winning local Astrophotographer Mark Gee. Please note this event is at Red Rocks Reserve, Wellington and is weather dependent.

May 6th – Space & Science Festival @NIGHT

Evening event focused on Astronomy with the Wellington Astronomical Society, Bioluminescent Bug Art with Dr Siouxsie Wiles, Science Talks and fun with Physics.
Plus chance to meet special guests from NASA!
